This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Smart Media collects through smartmediajo.com (the “Website”), why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. Smart Media is the trading name of شركة الذكاء للتصميم الجرافيكي ذ.م.م, a limited liability company registered in Amman, Jordan (“Smart Media”, “we”, “us”).
We handle personal data in line with the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. By using the Website or sending us information through it, you acknowledge this Policy.
1. Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send through our forms:
- Contact forms (Contact page and service pages): your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, the position you apply for, your CV and any details you add, such as your experience, notice period or current salary.
- Quality-assurance surveys: your name, email address, company and your ratings and comments about our work.
Please do not send sensitive information (such as health or financial details) that we have not asked for.
2. Information collected automatically
- Technical and security data: when you visit the Website, our hosting and security providers record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. We use this to keep the Website working and to block attacks and spam.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics (through the Google tag and Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are visited, roughly from which country and on which type of device. This uses cookies. We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The Website uses:
- Essential cookies: a session and security cookie on pages with a form, which protects the form from abuse, and security cookies set by our network provider (Cloudflare) and hosting provider to tell real visitors from automated traffic.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and similar) that measure visits.
- Embedded content: videos from YouTube or Vimeo and the map from Google Maps may set their own cookies when you view or play them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the forms from working.

- To reply to your enquiry and follow up on your request.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To act on survey feedback and improve our services.

6. Who we share it with
Only the Smart Media team members who need your information can see it. We also use trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the Website and form submissions.
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the Website.
- Google, for business email (form notifications reach our team by email), Google Analytics and Google Maps.
Some of these providers may process data outside Jordan; we use providers that apply recognised security and data-protection standards. We may also disclose information when the law or a competent authority requires it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up with you, and job applications for as long as needed for recruitment, including future openings that may suit you. When we no longer need the information, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information earlier at any time.
8. How we protect it
The Website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored encrypted, uploaded CVs are kept in private storage that is not publicly reachable, and only authorised staff can sign in to view them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email info@smartmediajo.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on the request.
10. Children
The Website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites
The Website links to other websites, such as our social media pages. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The new version applies from the date it is published on this page.
